I don't like science

Someone once told me that;
"Love is a chemical reaction in one brain"...

Then a few days ago, as I was reading Every Boy's Got One by Meg Cabot (yes yes, I read kiddy tween chick lit..) and I came across this line;

"You know, love is just a chemical reaction in the brain caused by surges of phenylethylamine, don't you?... People pair up to breed due to our natural mating instinct. But that attraction doesn't last. As with all drugs, the body developes a tolerance for the phenylethylamine, and eventually, the attraction you once felt for your partner fades. It's all perfectly natural. You can get the same amount of phenylethylamine, a stimulant the mind craves, by ingesting vast amounts of chocolate as you can by, quote, falling in love, enquote." (page 82)

I can't even pronounce it!!! All I know is that its some scientific name.

Holy crap! The fact that science is covering EVERY single aspect of our lives, it seriously doesn't even leave room for 'love'. Now that everything is down to a science, would there be anything as subjective and abstract anymore?

Have you guys seen Numb3rs? Damn... nothing is left unexplained. So how does this whole 'love' thing fit in?

I don't know where I'm going with this post... -_-'

Anyways, more random pictures I took the last few days...
