The Script Writer with a HUGE block

The second week of uni has already begun and so has the workload.

I actually have an assignment which is worth 30% that's dued on the 16th of March!! And I still have no freaking idea what I'm going to write about. I need a topic to write script which is about 5 minutes of screening. You see, I have to write a 5 minute short film and the ones I've seen are really good but I still have no idea what I should write about!!

The best 5 scripts in the class gets to be filmed and that production is worth 60%. Even if you don't get your script choosen, I have to do enough work to get that 60%. It's a group work so I guess its not as bad la.

I need a script.. a good topic and a do-able topic to film in Melbourne. The problem is, the script cannot be Americanised and stereotyped. Which sucks because all the stuff I've come to is Americanised and Stereotyped.

I think I should do something I know about. But what?

A life of an International student? Depression by an International student studying in Melbourne? The life of an International student being devoured by the night life of Melbourne?

An International student who deals with depression by partying his/her life and future away?

Argh! Help!!!!!!
