The Americans : Nickelback and Lindsey.

So.. I did go to the protest.. BUT the thing is, when the tram came closer to the station, I saw the bunch of international students and policemen everywhere.. I freaked!

I braved my way through the crowd as stood on the top of the stairs and looking down at the protest. I couldn't recognise any La Trobians... so I just stood there. Eugene called and as we were talking, I see Pixie!

I decided to ditch the protest and follow Pixie to the police station to get herself checked as some prove thingy for the new job (childcare). We walked and walked and walked. We were walking around the business district and I felt more like a kid than ever! Anyways, Pixie saw Alfie on Queen's! hahaha. It seems he works around that area... (huh???)

Anyways, we had lunch at a yummy Indian shop on Flinder's.. then headed to Collin's looking for Lincraft... When we got there, I had the urge to start knitting again. I mean, I have knitted once.. and I wanna knit again. I'm into those scarf thingy now.. it's so nice, warm and comfy.

After walking all afternoon, I came home and got ready for NICKELBACK!! Lindsey came over then we headed out, lookinhg for something light... we ended up with subway and sat on Federation Square, talking and muching away.

When we got to Rod Lever Arena, we found out that we can't bring in the camera. FUCK! Anyways, when we had our tickets scannedm, we had to go get out wristband cos we're in the standing general admission area. SO, we walked round the arena, got in and realised it's not going to start anytime soon.. and we went out and got some beer, went outside for a smoke and ended talking so much!

We got in, and some local band was the opening... anyways.. here's the juicy bit..

NICKELBACK COME OUT AND THEY WERE ROCKING!!!! IT WAS SO AWESOME! THE FIRE BEHIND THEM, THERE WAS LIKE SOME FIREWORKS THINGY ON STAGE! AND CHAD'S VOICE WAS SO SEXY! LINDSEY AND I WAS JUST SINGING ALONG, JUMPING UP AND DOWN, SHOUTING, SCREAMING... HAHAHA. TYPICAL CONCERT STUFF!! WHEN FAR AWAY CAME ON, I TRIED CALLING EUGENE BUT COULDNT GET THROUGH BUT WHEN THEY SANG REMIND ME, I FINALLY GOT HOLD OF HIM! HEHE..

I'm writting in caps cos, I'm so glad I went. It was sooo awesome!

After the concert, Lindsey and I walked back into the city and ended up in 255. We danced, drank and danced somemore... It's so much fun to go clubbing with her la. Danced with a few black dudes and towards the end, I ended up dancing with a chinese portugese dude who bought me a couple of drinks.. he was nice but towards the end he tried to kiss me and shit, I was like, HELL NO! I walked off and went to look for Lindsey and told her that I'm going off. Took my jacket and my bag, walked home in the fastest pace I could in a very tipsy state...

Got home, spoke to my baby and fell off to sleep.. I don't really remember much.. I remember saying some stuff but I can't remember most of it.. I remember getting him speechless... but.. everything else is so blurry... Hmmm...

Pei Lin woke me up this morning.. Lindsey came over to try/borrow my dress she's gonna wear tonight for some 21st cocktail party thingy... then Pei Lin and I headed off to Chapel Street. When we reach there, I realised I forgot my handphone.. *pouts!* Anyways, I got a long sleeve top and a trucky hat! Finally got a hat that suits me.. hehehe...

SHIT! spending too much!!! MUST STOP!!! From onwards, Its going to be instant noodles and bread..

Went to some dim sum place for lunch with Pei Lin, Wilson, Daniel, Michelle, Chris (Pei Lin and Daniel's housemate) and 3 of Daniel's friends. It was okay... expensive tho but I'm damn full.. so, okay la, I guess...

Now, I'm home. With Pixie here.. and my baby just called me to say that he loves me. He makes me weak in the knees!!! arghhhhhhhhh geram-nyer!!!
